“I don’t have inhibitions, I’m getting paid for it," Sushant on going nude

Sushant will be seen opposite Jacqueline Fernanadez in this film.
Mumbai: It's a very busy year for Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The star who has just wrapped up shooting for his romantic flick Kedarnath with Sara Ali Khan, will be taking a break to shoot a song sequence for his forthcoming film Drive with Jacqueline Fernandez. Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani is directing this film under Karan Johar’s banner.
Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to go nude for a scene in this action thriller. When the actor was asked about having any issues doing this scene he said, "I don’t have inhibitions; because I need to convince you that I’m the part. And if I have to do something to make sure you are convinced, I would do it. I’m getting paid for it!"

"Why wouldn’t it be comfortable? Why should I be thinking about this? If I have to cry in a scene, I’m actually crying. Now, that’s not a comfortable thing to do. Because I, normally, am emotionally detached. So, I don’t cry. But when I cry in a film, I have to come up with something exactly similar to feel what I have to at that point. I feel that and cry. That’s exactly what I do. Actors are not supposed to feel comfortable most of the times, if his character isn’t comfortable," added Sushant.

We have witnessed actors barring it all on the big screen before in Bollywood. John Abraham had gone semi-nude in Dostana and a completely nude scene in New York. Rajkummar Rao too bared it all in Shahid for a scene. Flamboyant actor Ranveer Singh too flaunted his back for a few seconds in Aditya Chopra’s Befikre.

Sushant admits that his nude scene is crucial in the narrative and thus he is comfortable doing it. “If you ask me whether I am comfortable showing my skin on screen, I will say yes. I don’t have inhibitions, but the role needs to require that kind of a scene. It can’t be just for the heck of it," He explained.
