Akshay Kumar 's stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is gearing up for a makeover.

According to the latest reports, the show's mentors-- Zakir Khan, Hussain Dalal and Mallika Dua have been shown the door. And they will be replaced by Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade and filmmaker Sajid Khan.
Shreyas and Sajid will judge the show along with Akshay and will be seen on your TV screens from October 28.

A leading publication quoted a source as saying, "It was pre-decided that the format would change after choosing the top 12 participants. There may also be a new host in place of Elli Avram, who was roped in only for the first leg of the show."

The show that has returned after nine years has given us a number of popular comedians like Kapil Sharma, Raju Srivastav to Bharti Singh in the past. Let's see if this change works for the ratings of the show or not.
