The board also decided to conduct the practical examination for physics, home science, agriculture, geography and trade I on January 11, for chemistry, music and psychology and trade II on January 16, for biology, entrepreneurship, yoga and physical education and trade III on January 22 and for computer science and multimedia and web technology on January 25, he said.
The board has already decided to ban home centres even for practical examinations to maintain transparency. The decision was taken after the disgraced Arts topper Ganesh Kumar had come under the scanner for scoring 65 out of 70 in music practical examination. “The centre for holding practical examinations will be decided by a district centre selection committee chaired by the respective district magistrate,” said Kishor and added: “The respective centres will have to submit the marks obtained by the students to the DMs by February 5.”
Kishor said the sent-up examination for Class XII would be held from November 14 to 21 in two seating (9.45am to 1pm and 1.45pm to 5pm).
