Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover patch up; to be seen in a new show together?

A lot transpired between good friends Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover over a period of few months. After reports of their 'mid-air' tiff, Sunil not only quit The Kapil Sharma Show along with three other colleagues Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra, but also took to social media to lash out at the comedian for abusing his colleagues.
It was said that Kapil threw a shoe at Sunil Grover during the fight and abused his other colleagues. Post the incident, the above-mentioned colleagues left the show and the ratings of The Kapil Sharma Show started falling. To the extent that it had to be taken off air.

Kapil maintained his silence all this while. The comedian, however, opened up about the whole thing in an interview to India Today recently. He denied that he flung a shoe at Sunil.

"The day we reached Australia I was very upset. I was also shooting for the film, a person in the film's cast had passed away. I wanted to cancel the Australia tour but the tickets were sold. When the show was about to start, a girl came to me crying, complaining about a boy, I yelled at the boy - who's my childhood friend. Chandan (Prabhakar). Chandan didn't come to see me. I saw him just before the flight and I lost my cool and started shouting at him. Sunil was not involved. He was just concerned. He's my favourite co-artist. My favourite on the show. I'm sure he's listening, I want to tell him I love you and I miss you," Kapil told India Today.

The two however have decided to bury the hatchet and get back together again. In an interview with Mid Day, Kapil revealed that he's in touch with Sunil over messages and is going to meet him soon to discuss an upcoming project.

"Sunil and I haven't met in a long time, but we chat over messages. He is currently in Canada. As soon as he returns, we will meet up and discuss the possibility of a new show. Hopefully, we should be back together. The rest of the cast members are also ready to come on board."
