Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ruled over the Cannes Film Festival with her breathtaking appearances. And there by her side was her adorable daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The mother-daughter duo made quite the fashion statements when they walked side-by-side at the do.

Apart from posing for pictures at their hotel, Aaradhya was given an all-access pass to accompany her superstar mother to one of the many events. Also present at the do was Oscar-winning British actress Dame Helen Mirren, who looked stunning in a glamorous velvet Elie Saab creation.

The former beauty queen and ‘The Queen’ actress had a pleasant run in at the festival and going by Ash’s Instagram caption, it was one memorable meet. Taking to the photo-sharing app, Aishwarya posted a candid click of herself and the dame crouching down to pose for a picture with Aaradhya. “LOVE LOVE LOVE .... n RESPECT @helenmirren,” she said in her caption.

While Helen lovingly held on to Aaradhya’s hand, Aishwarya embraced the two as they flashed their widest smiles for the camera.
