Robbers Try To Loot Female Passenger On Train, Indian Army Officer On-board Kicks Their Ass

Two robbers were recently taught a lesson they will never forget, courtesy a young Indian Army officer. At 3:30 am on 6th May, two robbers boarded the 2AC compartment of Dadar Express that was halted outside Hazrat Nizamuddin station in Delhi. The two would have thought it easy pickings, making use of the dark and the fact that passengers were asleep.

Obviously they picked on a female passenger on the lower berth. Unfortunately, they didn’t count on a young Indian Army officer to put the proverbial spanner in the works. Lieutenant Ashish of the Artillery Regiment, who was on the upper berth of the same compartment noticed the two goons. His army training kicked in and the young officer jumped in to stop the robbery attempt.

In the ensuing fight, the unarmed officer received a cut on his hand by the knife that the robbers were carrying. The robbers though hightailed it out of the train, to save their lives. Thanks to Lieutenant Ashish who was single-handedly putting up a fight that had the typical shock and awe the army reserves for the enemy on the frontlines.

We can only imagine how bad it could have been for the female passenger had the officer not been there. It was his quick thinking and lightning reactions that saved the day. And that’s exactly what the Indian Army expects of its officers in battle – to lead the charge without a care for their own safety and give the enemy a bloody nose.
